IIT JEE Exam 2012 Solved it and Get in IIT Now

The full form of IIT JEE is the Indian Institute of Technology Joint Entrance Examination that is held every year in India. The IIT JEE is the only criterion that examinees have to go through in order to take admission in the various Indian Institutes of Technology that are located all over the country and other top colleges of that teach science, engineering, architecture, petroleum technology etc. The exam is usually held in the month of April and it is expected that the IIT JEE Exam 2012 will take place on 8th April, and it is assumed that results will be declared in the month of May.

Now, let’s be honest, the IIT JEE is not a walk around the park; in fact it is one of the toughest entrance examinations on the block, so you have to take it seriously and have a thorough and sound preparation. Nearly 4 lakhs of students register for the exam but only about 20,000 are given the opportunity to enter the prestigious IIT colleges. The best time to start preparing for the IIT JEE is at the beginning of your 11th grade. So, if you wish to sit for your IIT JEE Exam 2012, ideally you should have already had 1 year of practice. Students are tested on their knowledge about mathematics, physics and chemistry.

There is no fixed syllabus for the IIT JEE. You can expect questions belonging to the above mentioned fields that have been taught to you for the 12 years of your school life. The easy scoring areas are – algebra, mechanics and stoichiometry, something that you have been taught in your 9th grade. Thus, starting your preparations for your IIT JEE fresh off your 10th board exams will help in the preparation process. Also, make sure that you have all the basics clear; if your concepts are weak then you will have trouble dealing with the other sections of the paper. So for all the IIT JEE Exam 2012 aspirants, it is not yet too late to go over the basics and preparing yourself with roundabout knowledge.

Successful candidates have stated that regular problem solving has helped them in cracking the IIT JEE. It is suggested that you start off practicing with easy and low-level problems; once you get the hang of it, move on to the more complex and intricate problems of the same topic. You should divide your study hours into mastering the basics and the concepts and solving problems. While solving problems, you should practice working against time so that it can make you alert and also make you work quicker. However it is essential that you keep your cool during the exam, else whatever preparation you took will go down the drains. There is no point getting depressed over a tough problem; you are allowed to leave a few problems when they are too hard for you.
